The dating threads on here by guys here in their 30s+ is kind of depressing

Still going riding bicycles, going to clubs, striking out on tinder and dating apps, desperate to settle down and now realize they should have married their college gf, current options are now women who have kid(s) and/or a divorce under their belt + other baggage, Norwood reaper is closing in, sobering realization that twenty-something wifey material is not coming through the door.

I just was driving through the downtown of my city, and pulled up at a red light right next to a family eating dinner at a table on the street. They were all looking at their phones and not saying a single word to each other. It was parents and two college aged kids.

If this is the extent of family life in 2020, I'm not the slightest bit interested.

Too many of my friends who married in their 20's are either divorced or unhappily married and dependent on drugs and alcohol to numb the pain.

It's better to wait until you are set up in your 30's or 40's, then find some young 19 year old virgin from the Ukraine to marry and impregnate.

Yep. In reality, there are only a couple countries in the world where it's strange to be a single guy after 35ish. In most of the world it's totally normal to be an older guy chasing pussy. Yes, if you're some fat tourist it looks pretty hilarious, but if you stay in shape literally nobody gives a single fuk.

This. Got divorced at 40 and have been having a blast ever since. Women are plentiful. I choose to be in a relationship because my girlfriend is awesome and my kids really like her. But she also knows if I ever wanted to, I could bail and get laid in a weekend. Tinder and Bumble are like shooting fish in a barrel. Have a great job and a decent side gig, nothing tying me down except for my kids who are awesome.

Be grateful for what you have and if you don't have it, go get it.
