Been a city guy my whole life, Im ready to get the fuk out asap srs. As Ive grown and matured, Ive come to terms as to what a rat race cram packed chit show big city life really is.

Just got back from a week in west Michgan, it was fuking amazing. Beautiful green lush land and nice people, lake Michigans east coast is crazy beautiful too. Was mirin very hard

They say this because they can't find anything to do unless it's structured.

Always found if funny how some people insist on living in high cost areas so they can go drink overpriced coffee or sit at a restaurant that put a heavy emphasis on appearance so they can sit and see and be seen trying to pretend to be important. Night clubs and wine sipping, just LOL.

Like one reason places like San Francisco are expensive is it's highly desirable for gay men to live there because there are more men because as permiscous as they are they would run out of dick to suck in most cities.

More to life than visiting every strip club and fine dining at the most expensive restaurants.

City is very overrated to live in, but they do have a wide variety of choices as far as food goes and there are some neat places to go to, but me and my gf have been trekking some nature trails. amazed to know how much chit there actually is to explore outside of your city lol.

What is really means is that their lives are so crappy they need things to make time go by (seemingly) faster and to be distracted 24/7.

my relatives in the phillippines lives the real country life in a town with 100% nature all around you, dirt roads, and like less than 50 people. it's awesome... though as a scum city modernized boi it took me like two weeks to adjust. no internet no cellphone no screens no hot water all food is 100% grown naturally on the ground 2meters from when ur sleeping no factory bought bull**** no coffee... now that i think about it i think it's the no caffeine that i was withdrawing from

My town has 250 people.

Nearest other "town" is a 45 minute drive and has 6500 people.


I have a bear trap (padded foot snare) set up right now within sight of my house so it is easier to check to see if I caught one...

I hunt and trap wolves, sea kayak, do winter snowshoe expeditions, snowmobile, and ATV whenever I want.

My boats and Waverunner are at the marina 200 yards away, and build custom seasonal cottages on boat access only properties, and have winters off.

Ya, its boring here. I wish I was in the city where the only things I can ever find to do are eating and buying useless chit. Just Lol at being in a city.

Lack of hustle and bustle, it really comes down to living at an accustomed pace. Combined with a lack of cultural interests, activities, restaurants and options adds up to an experience that MANY people find to be... Dull.

The same way someone from a small town would find living on the side of a mountain meditating all day and speaking 10-15 words in a day intolerable. Simply chalked up to a difference in pace.
