It's not the charisma that's the problem. Nor is it turning it off for a moment. You are allowed to have various different modes.
Sometimes you can't avoid a fight, but as long as you are fair, and love her even during a fight it should be fine. Don't be too negative to yourself about raging. You are showing her that you know what anger is (empathy if she needs to be angry sometimes too), and that that's okay to be yourself. That means she can be herself too.
Now go have makeup sex, she's waiting for you to turn it back on again.

Not really a charismamaxxer, but you make great points. I like to joke around a lot at work for example, and the days I keep to myself and am more focused on work and just not in a mood to talk as much, all the girls think I am mad or something is wrong with me. When in reality it's just me just being reserved or focusing because I want to.
Now I don't get that as much with women outside of work because they'll see that all the time with me when we are together a full day. But I can definitely see that being an issue if you're a charismamaxxer and turn off the jets for a bit.

If people have issues with you 'turning off' your charisma and thinks there's something wrong, they don't know you, and perhaps it's because you haven't allowed 'em too.
If you are being genuinely yourself, and the person is worth it, then maybe you could help them understand you. If not, then maybe you could help you understand you.

Now I don't give a fuk. It's way better. Just be yourself and realize maybe not everyone will like you, but usually it is a net positive. Plus they like you and know you...FOR YOU. Plus it is just a lot more fun. Life definitely is a lot more fun when you just go with the flow and be yourself.

Honestly you only have so much ammo, quippy responses, and comebacks to do when you're putting on the charisma. You can't go 100% with it. You have to show it here and there.
You're right to a degree.
Ratfish didn't really go into the idea of 'charismaxxing/jestermaxxing' being seen as lacking depth to others so you HAVE to show another side of you that a woman finds endearing instead of always trying to be cool/confident contrary to what people think "Chad" is.

lol I remember getting in a fight with my ex because I didn't "perform" at some stupid social event of hers. Like they literally just eyeballed me and waited for me to entertain them and I wasn't having it that night.
So later on she said, "EVERYONEthought you were being really weird, not talking and just being quiet. It was really RUDE!"

I realized this around age 24-25. When I was with the boyos or friends I was just myself completely and could talk you ear off and crack jokes. But when I went out or was ever in public situations, I'd get reserved and fall back in the crowd. I never knew why. Mainly just created a shell like you said for some reason.
