The Handmaid's Tale... Good show so far.

I'm on Season 1.

Lead actress acts her ass off. Brilliant cinematography too.

One of the few dystopian shows, which actually shows people going through mental health problems. Most dystopian shows people are generally psychologically fine.





I know the misc will love this feminist show, so I'm expecting nothing but reps in my CP.

Once you get through the TV seasons, read The Testaments. Absolutely mind-blowing.

I'll be curious to hear what you think of Season 2. Too much illogical torture-porn IMO.

A friend of mine used those exact words for season 2 and told me she quit watching because of that. I did watch it but could have done without those scenes.

If I was a woman, I would too.

I see that it plays on practically everything that would understandably terrify a woman.

I thought about what I would do as a man in that society, but I'd probably end up with a bullet in the back of my head, because I'd flip out one day at seeing the cruelty.

Lead actress is so damn good, episode 4 was brutal but compelling.
