Just rewatched Inception. GOAT movie for sure. Assure me the ending.

So just randomly rewatched Inception again on Netflix. This was my 2nd time and this time I actually understood it way more as I focused on more things.

This movie still holds it own srs.

At the end is he still dreaming or no? I feel like the thing spinning at the end gives 2 possible endings no? It doesn't clearly show if the thing falls or no which means he may have drowned in the first dream and thus entered limbo state with Saito being old as he died in the 3rd dream?

At the same time, the thing was kind of shaking as it is falling which means he was indeed in the reality but you can't know for sure is it?

Ur thoughts?

inception is one of my favourite films for sure.

It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Cant believe they had better effects 10 years ago, srs.

I watched TENET this year and I felt the effects weren't that good even on the fighting scenes in that movie. Plus the audio was fuked up.

i believe nolan is on record as saying that it doesn't matter whether it was reality or not, as Cobb had finally found happiness from being home and with his children.

however, the wobbling and the fact that it is the first time he actually sees his children's faces are evidence that he is in reality. whenever he was still dreaming you never see his children's faces.

IIRC the thing wobbling wasn't his actual totem in the first place, it was a wedding ring and whenever he had it on it meant he was dreaming and at the end of the movie he's no longer wearing it.

I am not trying to be a smartass, but I don't get the tension of this film.

Everything is a dream and I get that what happens can change you psychologically, but still all the scenes could have happening in minutes, then you wake up.

So, at the end, who cares?

If it's a dream he will eventually wake up to pee.

It's not like The Matrix when if you get injured there somehow you get injured in real life.

So, I have watched this a couple of times trying to enjoy it, but I can't because what they're going through doesn't matter much and is similar to having a nightmare.
