Consider disclosing your Misc handle. That should straighten it out.

When I did mine, we got to the third round of selections and some old lady from the second round raises her hand and disrupts everything because she suddenly "remembered she might be biased" due to her son's lawsuit against a hospital. The whole thing was moderately lulz. We had a nice little intro video from the cast of SVU followed by one about medieval peasants setting each other on fire to explain why it was important that we were there.

Was low-key mad they didn't get to me, because they were asking each candidate what they thought about chiropractors and if they'd accept evidence offered by a chiropractor. They would have had to start over if they'd let me answer that in front of the rest of the jury.

I would take it seriously and do my best to be objective and decide based upon the weight of the evidence. I’m a lawyer though so I’m particularly passionate about this kind of thing more so than the average person.

If you live in a big county, chances are they won't do sht if you don't show up (srs). I forgot twice in my life over 10 years ago. Nothing happened. Lol. I finally went and served a few years back.... + they can't prove that you got the letter. But you should serve. It is actually really cool if you get a decent case. It's not that bad

I went on jury duty when I was 20-21 met a guy same age who is one of my good friends there now, Was a fun experience tbh girl tried to say family friend groped her over 15 years ago had to go not guilty
