I lived in SoFl...they told me they wear hoodies because it blocks the sun and when you do the first sweat the hoodie captures that moisture and keeps you cool

Little haiti isnt as bad as north miami imo

That is one of the most bizarre things I've seen.

Towards the end there are incredible amount of decent cars, near a bunch of drug addicts in the hood. I would expect those cars to be robbed 24/7.

I don't live in a hood, but I do live in the worst crime area of my city. There was a period of time when car break ins were practically nightly (then a particular house in the area left, and it all stopped). I've also literally walked past 2 drug addicts breaking into a car where I live.

Just seems really weird to me so many decent cars out in the open, with no car alarms going off or windows smashed when there are a bunch of drug addicts around and the place looking like a garbage dump.

they keep on focusing on the "hood" (real estate) it has nothing to do with that. its the culture...pay attention to the body language and pay attention when they filled up the apt pool with their trash. thats the problem.

Lived in North Miami

Me being a big black dude def has to do with it, but I never found Miami's hoods to be the worst places ever. Sure crappy areas no doubt, but if you had even a slight sense of street smarts you'll be ok.

Problem is that people treat these places like the Miami they see on TV (aka South Beach) and move recklessly around them. Know where you are and you'll be ok for the most part.
