'we are all one consciousness'
Is anyone else repulsed by new agers/idiots that say 'we are all one', 'we are all one consciousness manifesting itself in different ways' etc etc? It's the worst theory of all time that goes against nature itself

I make it a personal rule to balance out time wasted with hippies to time well spent with sane folks. I love the multi colored hair, but I try to stay away from sex cults. Stay around them long enough and all the spiritual bs ends up just being some sort of sex talk.

If the Universeallegedlyall came from a single point (big bang), what's so ridiculous about a similar thing applying to consciousness?
general relativity also states the no reference frame, aka orientation in space time is more valid than any other. in other words, if you were to observe the universe in the right reference frame you would se that it still exists as a singularity, all matter and energy collapsed down to a point of zero volume.

you're angered by this idea because your ego is threatened by it and looking to keep you far away from it. And by ego I mean the mentally constructed, personal sense of self "I am a body and mind separate from the All, my name is OP and I'm a ******* who lives in X geographical location and etc etc"

I don’t think it’s that far of a stretch personally. I just think reality is so complex it’s difficult being the most intelligent species (that we know of) and yet understand very little about our existence. I’m not religious but I do believe in creation, through what route is debatable. Understanding God or creation/even just reality alone is like an earthworm trying to understand Einstein. We aren’t capable of that amount of understanding. Hell, we’re still killing each other over shoes. All I know is I stay away from people who claim they know the unknowable. Anyone who says “____ is 100% how we got here or where we’re going” is going on faith alone or mental.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

Did you just find out about Buddhism OP? Guess what, it's been around for quite a while, long before the new agers.
“Peace does not mean an absence of conflicts; differences will always be there. Peace means solving these differences through peaceful means; through dialogue, education, knowledge; and through humane ways.”

I thought it was an interesting read. I found a song I like and someone linked this story. I read it as I listened to the song. It matched up very well. I tried to find the song, but couldn't..sorry. Still, here is the story
The Egg
By: Andy Weir
You were on your way home when you died.
It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
And that’s when you met me.
“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”
“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words.
“There was a… a truck and it was skidding…”
“Yup,” I said.
“I… I died?”
“Yup. But don’t feel bad about it. Everyone dies,” I said.
You looked around. There was nothingness. Just you and me. “What is this place?” You asked. “Is this the afterlife?”
“More or less,” I said.
“Are you god?” You asked.
“Yup,” I replied. “I’m God.”
“My kids… my wife,” you said.
“What about them?”
“Will they be all right?”
“That’s what I like to see,” I said. “You just died and your main concern is for your family. That’s good stuff right there.”
You looked at me with fascination. To you, I didn’t look like God. I just looked like some man. Or possibly a woman. Some vague authority figure, maybe. More of a grammar school teacher than the almighty.
“Don’t worry,” I said. “They’ll be fine. Your kids will remember you as perfect in every way. They didn’t have time to grow contempt for you. Your wife will cry on the outside, but will be secretly relieved. To be fair, your marriage was falling apart. If it’s any consolation, she’ll feel very guilty for feeling relieved.”
“Oh,” you said. “So what happens now? Do I go to heaven or hell or something?”
“Neither,” I said. “You’ll be reincarnated.”
“Ah,” you said. “So the Hindus were right,”
“All religions are right in their own way,” I said. “Walk with me.”
You followed along as we strode through the void. “Where are we going?”
“Nowhere in particular,” I said. “It’s just nice to walk while we talk.”
“So what’s the point, then?” You asked. “When I get reborn, I’ll just be a blank slate, right? A baby. So all my experiences and everything I did in this life won’t matter.”
“Not so!” I said. “You have within you all the knowledge and experiences of all your past lives. You just don’t remember them right now.”
I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it’s hot or cold. You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had.
“You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If we hung out here for long enough, you’d start remembering everything. But there’s no point to doing that between each life.”
“How many times have I been reincarnated, then?”
“Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.”
“Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?”
“Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.”
“Where you come from?” You said.
“Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.”
“Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.”
“Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.”
“So what’s the point of it all?”
“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”
“Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted.
I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.”
“You mean mankind? You want us to mature?”
“No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.”
“Just me? What about everyone else?”
“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”
You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”
“All you. Different incarnations of you.”
“Wait. I’m everyone!?”
“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.
“I’m every human being who ever lived?”
“Or who will ever live, yes.”
“I’m Abraham Lincoln?”
“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.
“I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.
“And you’re the millions he killed.”
“I’m Jesus?”
“And you’re everyone who followed him.”
You fell silent.
“Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.”
You thought for a long time.
“Why?” You asked me. “Why do all this?”
“Because someday, you will become like me. Because that’s what you are. You’re one of my kind. You’re my child.”
“Whoa,” you said, incredulous. “You mean I’m a god?”
“No. Not yet. You’re a fetus. You’re still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.”
“So the whole universe,” you said, “it’s just…”
“An egg.” I answered. “Now it’s time for you to move on to your next life.”
And I sent you on your way.

aight listen up... i wasnt gonna type this but fuk it you know.
im part of an occult and we have proof/seen it first hand that yes we all connected but best way to explain is that when you sleep and you have a dream
where did this dream come from the people in your dreams are made up ?imaginary but while you sleep this reality is real you made it like a big bang in your head made a lil world to dream of while you sleep
this what we are
we are all connected because we are all one in the same dream made in someone/somethings mind we call it the ''All''
you might call it god but this is not true god did not make this ''dream''
the all . the IT.. made god and god made this
confusing ? its because the real reality is so far beyond your perception that its not even worth trying to understand it
first thing that comes to your mind is that 'ohhh our reality isnt real we are living in a simulation... yes a simulation but who to say its not real whats real and not
this is our simulation of our universe like a computer game there are rules and codes of what you can and can not do
the laws of physics for example.. its a code given to this reality but saying its not real is just ignorant because all we have to compare this to is some movie called matrix and some ****ty games we can make.. they arent real because they are so ****ty but the all can make reality '''as real as it gets
now why did the all made this..... same reason we make a world or dream when we sleep because we can
so then what made the all you might ask ? if it made this then who made it ?
again this is beyond our understanding

We're all one. That separateness is an illusion, and that I'm one with everyone--with the Prime Minister of England, and my cousin Harry, you and me, the fat kid from "What's Happening!", The Olsen twins, Natalie Portman, the guy who wrote "Catcher in the Rye," Nat King Cole, Carrot Top, Jay-Z, Weird Al Yankovic, Harry Potter, if he existed, the whore on the street corner, your mother--we're all one.
Cobra Kai never dies!

consider this
you are playing world of warcraft
you made 1000 accounts
you have the ability to play all 1000 accounts at once but you dont do the same thing over and over as you wanna see what happens if you left instead of right or do this quest but not the other one. you are in control of 1000 accounts but each character has diff path it takes in the game/diff skills.. diff everything and sometimes you even play with a few characters together even tho you are controlling all of them.
now consider this game has auto pilot mode where the characters roam round without you having to control them 100% like when they eat ... poo... workout
you then only take control when you feel like it.
in short we are all connected by the ''all'' but we have our diff traits/skills some are even NPC's (manlets., incels)
this is the reality and the truth
you are playing world of warcraft
you made 1000 accounts
you have the ability to play all 1000 accounts at once but you dont do the same thing over and over as you wanna see what happens if you left instead of right or do this quest but not the other one. you are in control of 1000 accounts but each character has diff path it takes in the game/diff skills.. diff everything and sometimes you even play with a few characters together even tho you are controlling all of them.
now consider this game has auto pilot mode where the characters roam round without you having to control them 100% like when they eat ... poo... workout
you then only take control when you feel like it.
in short we are all connected by the ''all'' but we have our diff traits/skills some are even NPC's (manlets., incels)
this is the reality and the truth

there's literally no way to disprove solipsism... even though pretty much everybody knows its not true
so, basically it's just like "genetics" is used as some sort of end argument. nobody canreallyargue against it cause it's impossible to prove/ disprove

But this is realizing that you actually don’t really exist at all and that everything is just one field of consciousness.
It’s an experience btw not a theory.

my point was within a point though
you can't prove or disprove anything outside of your brain exists. TECHNICALLY
so, you couldn't prove or disprove everything is "consciousness" is what i'm saying. you could always revert to "how do you prove something outside of your brain exists"?
in summation, you need a brain (your brain) (whether or not that's consciousness) to technically prove something exists
but i really think this is just a shortfall of logic than it is any credible mention of reality. these are the technical nitty gritties, but most everyone normal knows this isn't true.
if there were no fathomable order to reality than stuff like medical industry couldn't exist to help people. you know? if it were all just random then it would be chaos

I mean you can relate with your siblings because you came from the same parents
- they're basically you, a bit different but basically same thing - now go back to the first cell organism when it divided
We're all just a continuing chain reaction of the same event.
So in a sense we're all siblings on this beautiful planet of ours.
Open your eyes and you'll see the truth and the love around you.
