The company had $31.5b inrevenuein 2020 and posted a profit of $630m
JFL at this executive compensation scam.
How can he pay himself the entire revenue of the company?

Tesla is just a big Ponzi scheme, just lol at anyone thinking that Tesla will remain relevant once electric cars are the incumbent technology. Good luck competing with Toyota or VW manufacturing and distribution networks
On his compensation, theres nothing wrong, his stocks were worth 10% when he got them, they went up 1000% in the 3 years leading to its vesting, u cant blame him lol

Tesla has more capital available than any car company in the world, by an order of magnitude. They literally just have to hand it over to the best analysts people in the world, using the most modern systems, and build it.
To OP:
You need to look into how stock options work. lol. They aren't "paying" him anything. He actually pulls no salary from the company. His compensation package includes the option to buy certain numbers of shares in the future at set pricing, assuming the company hits specific metrics. The value here comes from how much share prices have increased.

lol at not realizing that being 100% EV and not tied oil will leave traditional companies in the dust. Already has. Tesla will likely remain at the forefront of the EV market for decades to come.

What I am saying is even a great company can be a bad investment if it's priced at 1000x earnings and the CEO is siphoning away enormous amounts of money into his own pocket.

Tesla is just a niche competitor, nothing more, they will end up becoming a supplier of batteries for the rest,of the automakers

From my understanding the only thing Tesla does that is outstanding is battery design. Apparently they have improved the 18650s that make up the overall battery, and even a new battery for the model 3 that is more efficient (2170).
Teslas will never catch on. Imagine the power bill when you're charging your tesla at 40 amps, 240 volts for hours each day? Where's that power going to come from, coal? We haven't built nuke plants since the 70s after 3 mile island.
Or how are they going to make enough batteries? There's something like 7-8000 of those little 2170/18650 batteries in a single Tesla

Their main strength is their incredible brand/marketing and their access through cheap capital due to aforementioned marketing. It would be difficult for any company to fail when investors are willing to give you $30bn to hold on to for 10 years all while making 0 profit. Oh and government tax subsidies for your product over your competition as well.

I think a lot of factories are about to move to Arizona/Texas due to the combination of cheap electricity and low taxes

I recently read something intredasting.
In a 1953 book The Mars Project by Von Braun a leader of Mars is named Elon
Elon Musk was born ~20 years later and he's being paid by government to launch ships to space and hopefully Mars
Either a funny coincidence or reality is being ****ing fabricated
