Bo Burham "white woman instagram" song... is this meant to be funny?

Didn't even laugh once, thought it just came across as creepy and stalkerish. I don't know who he's meant to be satirising but no women I know IRL are like this?




Oh wow turns out he has a song called "straight white male" too, apparently we're not allowed to have any complaints about life because of our pRiViLeGe

Man I hate these liberal art school betas. Again, this is meant to be funny. . .

I put on his Netflix show about being inside or whatever as background noise while I was doing something and whenever I paid attention it was cringeworthy. How is any of what he does actually comedy? He plays some instrument and says some non-comedic things. This is what passes for entertainment nowadays. The quality of media in the past two years has been complete trash.

I didn't find the song funny, but I know the kind of IGs that he's singing about.

Play to your audience. There's a large section of America that loves the "white males are evil" shtick, including a large segment of white dudes who like to virtue signal to maybe get laid. Comedians are largely liberal because thats who owns the holy grail for them- the Netflix/tv special or the writing spot for a comedy show.

Let me leave you with my favorite comedian right now. Even he gets a bit liberal on his netflix special, but most of his standup is legit.

Oh wow, I didn't take it this way at all. Amongst all the superficial social media foamed lattes, this woman has posted about her very real love that deserves to be celebrated and a post remembering someone she's lost. I love the idea that some people are easy to mock - and especially Karen / Becky / White Women Culture...but people are complex and there's a real human behind everyone's online persona.

Combined with the Sexting "killing the mood for consent" background, Bo strikes me as Good Guy Chad.

I’m not liberal and I watched his entire new special. It is satirical and obviously mostly a comment on society’s reliance on social media among other things.

I think Bo Burnham is very talented and creative, but no, you are not going to laugh out loud for the whole special. You’re supposed to feel a range of emotions.

I thought it was very good and I can appreciate that he put together the entire thing basically himself.




Of course I wish there were other new comedians that would just make funny stand ups without all political BS, but there are not unfortunately

You're definitely supposed to feel bad about being annoyed with your Boomer Mom in FaceTime with my Mom (Tonight) and the whole White Woman's Instagram "Still figuring out how to live without you, it's got a little better but it's still hard..." Didn't take it as poking funat all,in fact I get choked up at that part every time.

It physically hurt to watch that video. Didn't make it more than 30 seconds in. All his viewers are 100% women and soys.
