depends, are they still pumping the market with tether and other stable coins pegged to the dollar, which gives whales and exchanges the ability to buy btc and other crypto virtually without risk to their own capital? just lol @ people who let the new elite gaslight them into thinking crypto isn't a ponzi

Technical analysis does not inspire me for cryptocurrencies.

Changes do not reflect fundamental forces changing over time and usually come from novel contexts.

Bearish.

I believe we are in a bear market.

Alex Becker was 100% right, although he was new to crypto trading he said that so many people in the crypto space are convinced that they will see the market coming to an end, due to living through the 2017 bull market. He basically said that it's going to be creep upon us, and euphoria will make people blind to the signs. He was spot on.

Most of us (including myself) didn't spot the obvious 'euphoria' part of the market cycle, when memecoins were doing 10X and 20X literally every day.

I think we are in the denial stage. There are still people in the crypto space who believe that things will recover soon. (I hope they are right, but I don't think they are.)

Hopefully I've learned my lesson for the next bull market.

The *best* ponzis are those mixed with legitimate developments (like blockchain). People think this is something new but it's really not, it's just another spin on a tale as old as time

yes and I'd add that the mechanisms of the tech are so convoluted with technical jargon (see any whitepaper on btc) that most people wouldn't be able to get past the first couple sentences. Theres a reason the richest man in the world (Buffett) claims he only invests in things he understands.

From what i can see it was/is completely created and controlled by elites. People are incredibly ignorant believing that "satoshi" story. Its laughable imo

No doubt. All you had to do was be a friend of someone "in the know" back when bitcoin was for sale in 2009, throw in a million (chump change for the rich) and make 10s of billions on a low risk investment, then unload the bags to the public who have been conditioned to think its the next big thing at 20-60k per coin lmao. Ironically it came out right after the 2008 stock/housing collapse, so maybe it was all some huge hedge against the inflation resulting from the FED printing fiat ad infinitum

Do I think it's the "future of money"? No. Do I think it's a Ponzi scheme? Yes.

But I do think it'll go higher sooner than later, maybe after going back down to 25k or so. The market is a rotation machine. Right now, all that money has rotated back into equities, with indices at all-time highs. Once indices reach a point where the market makers no longer want to buy, they'll start pumping crypto again temporarily. Or I could be wrong.

The crypto space is a cult. Like the gold bugs, except younger, geekier, and somehow dumber.

The extent of the cult can be seen in just how blind they were to the "euphoria." The laser eyes on Twitter, Doge to 0.75, every valid criticism of Bitcoin being answered with "Have fun staying poor," billionaires like Musk shilling it, no one taking profit because "it is the future of money and fiat is fake (nevermind that Bitcoin value is measured in fiat)... there were blatant signs one after the other.

It wasn't created or controlled by elites. But like anything else, the smartest/wealthiest people on the planet will generally find a way to exploit it to make money. When there is a "hey this is a way to stick it to the ultra rich!" angle, you can be even more sure they are exploiting it.

That doesn't mean blockchain isn't a useful technology or that there isn't a way to make
money in crypto, but if means people need a reality check.

The refusal to talk about any negative shows someone is either stupid or trying to scam people.

I'm going to continue to remain impressed by people's willingness to light money on fire.
