Anyone else just done working?

Brb people getting paid a 40-50k salary in benefits for the past two years for doing absolutely nothing - even more if they have kids.

Brb government subsidizing everything

Brb eviction ban forever

Brb no consequences for being financially illiterate anymore - personal accountability evaporated by the far left.

Brb if fired, collect free money for as long as the media creates covid hysteria.

All the people still working are the real chumps in all this chit.

What’s the endgame to all this shït??? Hyperstagflation??

Nah but I'm done with COVID being a thing, just want it all to be over

2020 + 2021 have been my best earning years to date though, I was off for two weeks when the pandemic first hit and that's it

Governments only help the weak, dumb sheep so they can get re-elected and get richer, this is why the Senate makes the rules and have no term limits.

I’m honestly been thinking of quitting work and driving through America over the next 6 months.

I'm getting to that point. I don't see what I'm gaining out of this. Life is unsatisfying, why am I slaving for this?

It sounds like you can't handle any adversity.

Boyo, you gotta understand the game

1) Eviction Moratorium FOREVER.
2) Small landlords can't evict tenants, will need to turn to the gov to subsidize rent (only 80% of FMV) with strings attached
3) America becomes a giant housing project
4) Responsible people will be taxed into poverty to subsidize living costs of 60% of the population who refuse to take personal accountability
5) "Housing is a human right. Food is a human right. Clothes is a human right. Air Jordans is a human right. PS5s are a human right. Sex is a human right. Vacations are a human right..." etc

Nanny state incoming.
Everything I post is satire.

That’s a cool setup, at least you’re alone….once they start trying to bring everyone in to the office, I am likely going to quit and take some time off/figure some new chit out with my life…….not gonna wage slave my whole life, even if it’s decent money (JFL at real inflation hovering closer to 20% and wiping out all of your stock returns unless you’re in high risk/high return positions or recklessly gambling your life savings like a huge amount of retail traders atm).

this kind of mentality is cancer, a country can not be sustainable if the people are not willing to work and think that collecting wellfare checks is the way to survive.

bottom line is anyone who refuses to work in favor of collecting wellfare is cancer and a bitch.

I did that, 6 figure income now in an east Tennessee county where the median income is $29k. Just bought a ~2400 sqft 4 BR house in a 9/10 school zone and my mortgage, taxes, insurance come out to $1,400/month. It's in what locals consider the rich people area too. Went to dinner at some real fancy rooftop martini bar and the total was like $80. Back in Denver it cost me $80 to get a couple burgers and 2 beers at a road house lmao.

I wouldn't recommend Kentucky but it's a great life plan other than that.

if someone in here is saying working is for chumps just say you're a loser who is collecting checks that one day will dry up. I love my pension and my 20 dollar full coverage medical rates. Plus dont have to worry about one day my checks not coming
