In-laws are forcing me to take a breathalyzer every hour at Thanksgiving.
From past experiences of rowdy behavior, physical altercations and getting arrested on Thanksgiving my former in-laws are demanding I take a breathalyzer every hour. No compromises
Im about to go along with it because I haven’t seen my kids in years because my ex wife had me arrested for throwing her around something serious when she was clawing my eyes out one evening
All seems good now and ready to move forward on the homefront but no way i dont sneak drinks. When i fail the breathalyzer i will claim the listerene i use to try cure my gingivitis is causing a false positive
I live on a ranch taming and breaking horses in the middle of nowhere and if crap hits the floor and i manage to step in it, ill just go home and do a traditional Thanksgiving and try hunt dinner

******* doesn't show up on a breathalyzer OP. Just replace your alcohol consumption with lines of coke and you will be perfectly fine.

Lmao this has to be a troll. OP getting shhitty and throwing families around on thanksgiving yet he’s still going back.
They don’t even want you there op (hence the test). Give grandpa joe some peace this year that his head won’t end up in the gravy after you go WWE on the whole family ya drunk.

Honestly don't understand what's going on. Ex-wife but inlaw? How does all of that work, what is your ex wife doing with your current wife's family on Thanksgiving the prior year?
Too many gaps.
I'd be pissed if family had that kinda rule though, asserts power/control, and nothing you can say or do will make you look like you're righteous and stoic IMO. Either you don't attend and become the black sheep. Or you do attend, abide by their rules, and they make it an awkward thing every 60 minutes while you feel like a loser in front of everyone there, especially the kids. Or you do attend, don't abide by their rules, and cause mayhem looking like a black sheep.
So black sheep Vs. looking like a loser?
EDIT: I think I understand, your ex-in-laws and current in-laws are joining together for Thanksgiving for the sake of the kids. I'd not drink anything at all and feel like a loser using a breathalyzer every hour. Don't pharking regret your decisions out of anger. In fact, while of course being sober, make the ex-in-laws feel WRONG about you. Make a laugh of it, make jokes about it. That'll show them. "Wow noitall really got it together since we last saw him."
