God, I hope the apocalypse happens soon...

Every day I wake up, during my hour long commute I pray for a cataclysmic event. I imagine myself fishing, boating down the river, rifling through abandoned chit, raiding pharmacies and liquor stores. I daydream about my responsibilities becoming solely based on survival. I listen to ******t apocalyptic sounds to fall asleep, the sounds of burning buildings, distant wailings and sirens, my imagination allows me to drift into a peaceful, dreamless sleep. I'm tired, boyos, don't fight it this time, when everything fuks up just let it happen, let's let it all change

This all sounds good untill you have to deal with having no power, healthcare, other survivors, total anarchy and reckless violence that ensues after the mass event.

You'd better pray that God keeps order on this plane, because if chaos starts reigning you won't be able to daydream about some naive fantasy you're having in your moms basement right now and have to live with the daily dread of not getting murdered or eaten alive. srs

This. It’d be all fine if you were one of a very very few left behind, even then without healthcare what happens when your appendix ruptures or gallbladder goes bad out of nowhere? You die that’s what. Even a small infection could kill you eventually if it got out of hand. It’d really turn into a living hell pretty fast, or at the very least you could guarantee you’d have a really short life.

It’s possible to go live somewhere off the grid now OP. Just get you a small cabin somewhere out deep in the woods and do all those things (besides raiding stuff ofc lol). The only thing stopping you is yourself at the end of the day. I often day dream about that kinda life too.
