You clearly do not understand leverage and what fatigue does to strength levels. Unless you're a high level wrestler/grappler you really don't stand a chance on the ground against a skilled BJJ guy.

Went to a BJJ dojo against a purple belt, the lead instructor was just a few steps away from the top notch brazilian dude that made BJJ what it is, can't recall his name.

Anyway, I'm 6'4 230lbs, 14%bf at the time. Not superman but not a ln average American either.

I'll humbly admit this guy did beat me. I didn't know how to do anything. No idea where to go. I was like a 10 year old wrestling his brother.

That said, this guy also struggled to work me. Hard. His holds, I just gooned my way out of them using strength. And he tried to out cardio me but I've got good cardio, and I was breathing and he was not, but that wasn't stopping me.

Again, he did eventually win.

But only because I didn't know how to finish the job, like I literally didn't know what was BJJ legal and what wasn't so I didn't go for any gold.

To say that someone "wouldn't stand a chance" is foolish.
Anyone knows you can out strength a normie BJJ lol

A strong person that lifts provided he's not a uncoordinated retard and isn't a retard would mog a guy that trains BJJ 7/10 times

Most people cant even bench 2 plates

A dude that can squat 2.5x his BW, bench near 2x his bodyweight, deadlift 3x his bodyweight and OHP over his BW would mog a BJJ dude. I'm sorry but you're not gonna keep a strong dude like that down

meh - if there is a considerable size difference they definitely do. Plus, you can train a lot but if you never train outside of the rules of BJJ...it can be picked apart. I had a few guys try to choke me out while I worked at bars and I just grabbed one of their fingers and the hold was broken.

No fatcels, I'm talking like a dude thats strong in the 12-14% BF range, so lets say a 6ft 200lbs strong guy, used to play sports back in the day so moderate athleticism

They added weight classes to UFC for a reason.
People underestimate how important weight actually is.
Not Even talking about gym muscle either. Just weight in general.

I believe this. A huge 6'4 230lbs dude would crush a tiny 5'8 140lb BJJ black belt in a street fight. In the gym they would eventually submit you but in the streets you can hulk smash them the fk out.

Also I'm no BJJ expert but in the past I trained almost a year could submit most newbies kid you not some fat fuk 300lber day one sparred me made the mistake of taking bottom position fat fuk was unmovable and him putting his weight on me nearly made me tap out.

There’s a reason no ufc fighter has been willing to get into the octagon with Phil Heath. There’s levels to it

BJJ isn't like some superpower

I box and do BJJ 3/4 times a week. But even when I first started, if it was just some random ass fight with some average man who has done BJJ for years, they would be lucky to win. Ground game or no ground game, and especially in an uncontrolled setting. Smashing someone on the floor, grabbing their face and smothering it, I wouldn't give af and If I've got like 60-70lbs+ on someone who is 190-200lbs, it's not really that fair tbh

in terms of a fight - are you picking a WR who can run a ten minute mile or a lineman that can't?

Running is great but it is not the only way to judge your capacity - in fact for fighting, I would rather have someone who trains intervals rather than a mile.
