Notifying BB of the bots

I'm sure people have already done this, but I see there is a contact page here:

Should we formulate an acceptable message that we can all copy and paste or do you think that will just get the site shut down? I don't want anything to do with a site that allows bots to advertise CP, so I'm otherwise going to have to leave. Out of respect to the other members I am seeking your guidance. Sample message:

Dear BB staff,

I have been a loyal member of your site for the past decade. In that time, I have purchased probably $3,000 or more in supplements. I'm writing to you to bring to your attention that the forum is being attacked by bots. I'm going to have to leave if the problem isn't corrected. Wanted to bring this to your attention. You have a lot of loyal members here who are also frustrated and will eventually leave too if the problem isn't corrected.


Is there a somewhat sophisticated captcha on the registration? Or can you make the forum private?

As you may be aware, unverified usernames have taken over several subforums posting highly disturbing and illegal content(to include CP and illegal drug ads). Action must be taken to stop this and prosecute those responsible.

The users of the MISC forum first became aware of this from a new forum thread from a noted and controversial user called "silencespeaks". Whether or not silencespeaks is implicit in the illegal content sharing we cannot confirm, but its notable that she (he) often posts topics on dating "young chads", rejection of men over the age of 20 for "looking too old", and other discussion topics devoted to college and professional athletes that while over the age of 21, look like 14 year olds. A further investigation into any connection may be warranted.

The members of the MISC forum are standing by to assist with any questions on your end.

This is more than good enough, but I would like to propose an edit anyway. I always felt it to be unnecessary to tell someone that you’re writing them to bring something to their attention. Just bring it to their attention. It also mentions bots also doesn’t clue them in on the seriousness of the issue.

There has been a large influx of bots promoting obscene and illicit material on the site forums. As a loyal member for the past decade, I have invested a significant amount of money in purchasing supplements through your site; however, if this issue is not resolved, I will unfortunately be forced to shop elsewhere. Other members have expressed similar concerns and so I hope this issue will be addressed.
