Who's lifting today? Gtfih.

This is what my morning looks like today. Gonna start with a 30min stretch of the legs, followed up with cardio. After that will have a push/pull 4 exercise circuit.
What are you brahs doing?
For motivation I watch this short a dozen times every morning.
I imagine that is an inner demon, and while I can never quite kill them, as long as I have them down on their knees I have some peace. It gets me thinking about where I came from, where I am now, and where I am going.
If you're lifting today feel free to post what your morning looks like and your motivation.
This thread was inspired by Muzzlrpress and Garyridgway. Cheers boyos.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Currently 224lbs. Want to get down to 210lbs so I am lighter for the running season.

Stretch legs for 30 minutes? Are you getting more into being flexible? I have gone that route in my older age and it's paid back and then some. Don't need to use my hands/arms to stand up. Keep the lower back flat, don't round it.
I don't see a back extension or reverse back extension(better than just back extension) in there. If you have any lower back pain, you might want to consider working that.
edit: My workout today, not really solidified yet but it's going to be a lot of rotating myself from front lever to back lever and deep German hang......tucked/advanced tuck, some one leg out one leg tucked. Stretching, always. Probably supplemental stuff for planche. Not sure yet. Really, according to experts, I should take a rest day. Nope, gonna go do something.

Sick gym brah.
I skipped training yesterday as I didn't get to sleep until like 2:30am and up at 6:30. Didn't feel so bad about it though I've been training my fuking dink off recently, 7 days a week, sometimes twice a day x2 per week. Gonna go wreck my chest today. Incline DBs, flat bench, decline bench, cable crosses & low flyes.

Get after it brethren. Morning gym sesh got cancelled due to familial obligations, so today will be a rare afternoon workout. I get off early today, so I'm gonna be there during peak hours since the first time I joined. My angus is not peppered, but this incline bench ain't gonna raise itself.
I'm back, bitches!

Tuesdays and Thursdays are generally my "rest" days but I'll go on the stair master or run a few miles just to feel like I did something.

I just have basic home gym equipment - power rack, barbell, bench, plates, and an echo bike for cardio that is used 90% by my wife. I do two full body workouts a week. Today I did low bar squats, bench press, sumo deadlifts, and push press. I'm doing a hypertrophy program from Greg Nuckols. My introductory program to lifting was starting strength, so I'm pretty used to 5's. Today was 7's on squats/bench press and 9's on sumo deadlifts and push press. I hate higher rep work, but I think I hate it a little less than I used to, so maybe that's progress. I've always had better gains lifting 3 or 4 times a week, but that gets in the way of morning basketball so twice it is.
You like running? My oldest son is going into his senior year of high school cross country. I've thought about focusing on running with him this summer, but I think I'd have to drop around 20 lb to keep up. RIP gains. Plus, I don't really like running, lol.

Its not about how fit you are its more about recovery, disapline and patience. Lower legs are destroyed after every run. Its taken me 12 sessions and 6 weeks to build up to 3 miles daily with minimal shoes.
Lets make 2023 count.

Its not about how fit you are its more about recovery, disapline and patience. Lower legs are destroyed after every run. Its taken me 12 sessions and 6 weeks to build up to 3 miles daily with minimal shoes.
Lets make 2023 count.

You're spot on about recovery, discipline, and patience. Sounds like you're going to have a successful 2023.
