I normally don't post much in this forum, but some people wanted a follow up from a previous post. The following is a chronological narrative of all the major events at a house my wife and I bought about 10 years ago.

We bought this 3 story house with a basement and 4 bathrooms to rent by the week to traveling workers at a refinery. I went to collect rent from the first group of guys (11 of them) the first week. The boss asked me if the house was haunted. We'd been in and out of the house for the last 4 weeks and didn't experience anything. Their job was over after 3 months, and I asked the boss why he thought the house was haunted. He said he was the only person in the house using the downstairs bathroom and someone started walking up the steps from the basement and rattled the door at the top of the stairs where it entered the bathroom. He said other guys experienced strange things. They were from Texas.

The 2nd and 3rd group of tenants both said things are moving on their own across the fireplace mantle when they watch tv. They were from Oklahoma and Louisiana. None of the 3 groups knew each other.

Different groups of people that didn't know each other were describing similar events to me.

A 4th group of guys were cooking in the kitchen and a red Solo cup moved across the counter. Then it moved back to where it originally was.

Several other groups of guys experienced the stairway and door rattling to the bathroom. One guy was taking a dump and it rattled him so much that he had to run out of their without wiping his butt. He had to take a shower on the 2nd floor to clean off his back side.

Another group of guys went from 8 to 6 to 4 to 2 and down to 1. The one guy called me one morning and said he had to get out and the keys were insided. Asked him what the problem was. He said he went to bed at 9pm. He woke up at midnight and it was freezing cold in his room and that it felt like 1000 hands were holding him down for 60 seconds. He got out of bed, grabbed his clothes from the washing machine and slept in his truck.

I went there the next day and it dawned on me. Everyone that experiences paranormal behavior lives like pigs. They don't put their trash in the trash cans. The floor is covered with pizza boxes, food wrappers, empty beer cans and spittoons. People that keep it clean have no problems.

That's when I printed up this sign of events that tenants told me about and placed it on the fridge.

I had an old guy that was my handyman. He said his grandfather helped build that house in 1906. Someone else building the house fell from the 3rd floor and landed in the basement where he was found dead.

A few months ago my wife and her daughter went there to clean it. They went to the 3rd floor and all the bulbs on the ceiling fan were burnt out. They said "There's no light up here." A floor lamp turned on by itself.

Normally I’d be the first guy to say this chit is stupid and so is anyone who believes in it. But, yeah, I’ve seen and experienced some weird chit, and no longer feel that way.

I've had a couple odd situations. all as im waking up but not sleep paralysis as im able to move about.


1. I woke up and i saw what looked like a stone statue of an angel looking over me, but also sort of looked like the grim reaper (i suppose techincally he's an angel in christian lore?)

2. I saw an older version of my self laying in bed next to me, looked like i was dieing

3. the most intense so far, i saw an evil demonic girl (think like the ring film) I slapped that bitch so hard in an automatic reaction, turns out it was just my bedside fan. I can only assume my brain misinterpretted the shadow outline of the fan as something else. still real scary stuff. And now i need to buy a new fan



perhaps i should go seek help....

Lold at the signs. Haven't experienced any directly. Have known some folks who I'd consider reliable sources with a couple stories that are wild. Quick one comes to mind:

Aunt had a dog, they loved it dearly. It used to come under their bed at night and rub its back on the mattress from the underside and it would wake them up to take him out (big poodle).

Dog dies, but the mattress randomly at night will still be pushed up from the underside occasionally and wake them up. Aunt suspects Pups soul is still around. This lady had a **** loada experiences like that...

You should set up cameras inside the house and let people stay there for free and then put the clips on youtube and profit.

On a serious note, I would guess the 'clean' people were Godly people and the 'messy' people weren't practicing Christians.

OP if you had the balls you'd stay the night there and rig up a few cameras srs.
Once you prove it to yourself you can rent the place out as a haunted house and make absolute bank deadass srs. There's a huge community of people actively looking for places like this, and will pay for the opportunity. You're leaving money on the table by renting it out to low IQ alcoholic tradies
