The north of England is the most depressing place on earth.

South England has some OK places, mostly the south west which has areas which I'd even classify as "nice"

But north England... My god

The weather is drizzling. Like, it doesn't matter the time of year, it's drizzling 24/7 with grey skies.

North englanders subsist on a diet of fish and chips, to the extent their sewer systems are all clogged up with chip fat.

There is no culture, the identity of north englanders is to complain about factories being shut down 50 years ago and hating the south, and mosques.

The women are hideous. Yellow teeth, pasty faces, plump, dressed in full body tracksuits, usually pushing a pram with a cigarette on one hand and a bag of low class groceries in the other from some eastern euro supermarket.

There are no good jobs avaliable, no decent company bases themself north of Birmingham. There is no future in these towns and cities.

Even if you live in the ghetto of like new York or LA and think it sucks, at least you are only 15 minutes away from some nice parts.

In the north of England you are hours away from civilisation.

It's urban, but populated by the people who were left with nothing to do when industry departed 50 years ago, and haven't been smart enough in said 50 years to move.

Lol OP is actually 100% right in his analysis, i come from a small city near Manchester but now live in London. When I go back home to visit I honestly wonder how I lived there so long, feels dead.

I think the culture of the English is more preserved there and people are generally nicer even though they are poorer

and white british girls in the north - manchester, newcastle, liverpool much more good looking than South and London (London the pretty ones are either not white british - no racist but we are talking about anglosaxon facial features/bodies etc - or East European)


I did uni in the south and have lived in London, but I am from Bulgaria where it is the land of very hot women, second to Russia/Russian derivatives (Ukraine, Estonia etc).

You appear to know nothing whatsoever about England.

Anyway, the OP is talking out his arse. There are tons of rich and middle-class areas up north. Pretty much nobody in this thread could afford to live in places like Alderley Edge for example.

If you can't get a good job in places like Manchester or Leeds, then the problem is you. You don't even need to have gone to university to have a good standard of living in most of the north. You can fix boilers or be a roofer or something and live in a decent house in a nice area and afford multiple foreign holidays every year. Loads of businesses and jobs up north.

Yes, there is deprivation in parts and Pakistani child rape gangs were a thing for like 3 decades but there's no poverty, violence or deprivation like what you get in American ghettos or dying old towns in Illinois and chit lol.

F*ck off with Manchester having no culture. Most of the UK's best musicians come from this city. The Hacienda is arguably the most famous nightclub in history and the best mogger football teams are here (City/Utd). There are plenty of museums and events going on all the time. Yes there are poor urban areas, but there are also extremely wealthy areas like Alderley Edge. You just sound like some bitter southerner or foreigner from some insignificant place that nobody gives AF about.

Seems like a very culturally homogeneous white northern England would be a pretty dang nice place to live (srs). Honestly when I think of England I think of brown people now.
