The scariest thought

when you are 6 ft underground and dead , millennia will pass and one day the earth will be destroyed and your corpse will be catapulted into space never to be seen again
brb haven’t met one vaxcel who doesn’t get defensive or mad when you tell them you didn’t get it.

No “vax” for HIV after 40 years of research. No vax for cancer after 100 years of research. No vax for the common cold and yet a virus mysteriously appears and Within 12 months a “vax” is found by 4 pharma companies all within 1 week and we are mandated to take it ….

When your body physically dies, your soul separates from your body and either goes immediately to be with Jesus Christ for all eternity (2 Cor 5:8), or goes into a holding place called Hell awaiting Judgment Day (Heb 9:27). On Judgment Day, the dead body of every soul that was damned (whether cremated or whatever - doesn't matter to God) will come up out of the grave and stand before a Great White Throne (Rev 20:11-15) and give an account of all the evil works they have done in this earth and then finally their name will not be found written in the Book of Life and they will be cast into a Lake of Fire.

The scariest thought then, is dying without having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Is your personal belief that salvation can be achieved thru accepting Christ alone or does it involve works/levels of sin as well? Or do we simply not know if it's both or not? (srs) Always here different things from different denominations.

We're saved by grace through faith and not of works (Eph 2:8-9) but the works are evidence of our faith (James 2:20-24, Matt 7:16-20). The problem is that there is an easy believism that most 'Christians' have today; they go to church a few times a year (Christmas & Easter) but watch porn, sleep around, do drugs, alcohol, lie, love money, are proud, etc. and this sin keeps them from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and for that they will ultimately be judged.

Only your physical body. After you die tho you will be judged by God. As in the god who wrote the Bible through men. You’ll go to Heaven or to hell. Simply as that.

That's not scary at all. To the extent it hasn't turned completely to dust and become part of something else by that point, the idea of my corpse/skeleton hurtling through space forever is awesome.

Sadly, for the most part, this is true - religion has become a money-making scheme. But there are still some faithful churches and it's ultimately not about religion, it's about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
