It’s a very cheap nitrogen-fixing crop meaning it doesn’t have to be rotated and the cultivars are genetically modified to increase yield while being resistant to pests and disease and soybeans are relatively high-protein food with the ability to be processed into a a variety of products as a cheap protein additive that is generally acceptable by the majority of consumers due to its cost effectiveness and neutral flavor, this all results in profits for food manufacturers.

Yea which is why I cook most of my food, get most of my food locally in the warm months, always check labels, and even research some companies before I buy chit.
Years and years ago I used to get extra virgin olive oil from a company that ended up being being not extra virgin olive oil after a lab test study done on a ton of different brands showed a large percentage of them lying about what it actually was.
When you realize that eating stuff with that much crap in it constantly, and over time, is causing health issues...then avoid it. I no longer have horrible chits, I almost never fart anymore, I don't have or get acid reflux anymore, my teeth and mouth health has gotten even better, never get stomach aches or bloating and I don't feel like dogchit after I eat anymore. All because I avoid all those crappy ingredients and cook 90% of all my food.

rick bro... i have higher test than anyone on this forum and if i could give you one piece of dieting advice that i've practiced over the past ~10 years it's to make everything, or almost everything, yourself.
there are a couple of solid snack brands, but most of its full of garbage that ruins your health over time.

Yeah I've been frustrated trying to reduce my intake on soy, seed oils and other processed crap. One of my very few "compromises" with my diet has been a use of condiments by Lighthouse. They make some phenomenal tasting blu cheese and buffalo ranch dressings. They're the GOAT for homemade chicken strips, salads and burgers. They used to be based on just Canola oil (again, one of my few compromises due to the taste and quality) but now the foundation is "Canola and/or soybean oil". Sadly I switched to another brand that doesn't taste as good, but just avocado oil based.

You also have to go into the world of botany and look up why and how soy affects thyroid function, do you think it’s an accident that Asians are the most feminine race? Do you think it’s an accident that the instant some famous athlete switches to vegetarian soy protein sources their results are absolutely guaranteed to go down? And what is this fascination with studies? Do you base your life on the what some absolute moron in a white lab coat said that is based on Cherry picking data that has absolutely no relevance to your lifestyle?

It's also cheap because the federal govt subsidizes the hell out of it, like they do with corn. Hence corn byproducts are in so much too - corn starch, maltodextrin, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup. Both are high yield crops that shouldn't get any subsidies but they do because they lobby for it. Lots of Congressmen and women own corn and soy fields because of the subsidies too, so they're voting to give themselves money. Yeah, it's corrupt AF and makes everyone less healthy in the end.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!
