Do all rich people know deep down their money will never make them happy?

Asking for a friend.

I think all rich people know this or soon find it out.

The "you're poor"/"you're trash"/"I'm better than you" talk is all cope for people to feel better about themselves because they have the thing that's supposed to make people happy.

Just look at the negativity from posters here claiming to be wealthy.

There is no escape boyos...Jesus Christ is the only answer.

Yes, most extremely wealthy people I know have money they have pulled off the table, call it fuk you money or whatever you want, they know they will never have to worry about money. Most of them are no longer concerned with what they can buy. They are concerned with building generational wealth or leaving a legacy.

I'm not sure that you have any idea how wealthy people think.

Money is mostly just a unit of exchange enabling trade, I think most people who get rich tend to get off on the work they do rather than numbers

You can see this in very wealthy people who could never need to work another day in their lives, their kids wouldn't, and their kid's kids wouldn't, but they're still going hard af

In some sense I do think "striving" can keep people happy in the sense they have a feeling that even happier times are ahead if they keep striving.

Agreed for the most part. Being poor is way worse than be filthy rich. Still the poor guy may have a wife and kids who love him and the rich guy may be hiring prostitutes. Like I said before. Money does not buy happiness, but at least it allows you to pick your own type of misery.
