low carb is likely the same long term.

a lot of these restrictive diets feel good in the short term because it spikes your cortisol/adrenaline which gives you great energy. But running like that long term creates health problems.
My ALT is elevated. 75.

I think it makes the most sense to change things up. Sometimes do low carb, sometimes normal carb. I've never been a fan of intermittent fasting, rather a 3 day fast a couple of times a year instead. Test goes down a little bit during a multi day fast, growth hormone goes way up. Once you start eating again your test goes up higher than it was at baseline for days afterward.
