Never liked Bethesda games, find them all boring as fuark.

I don't think they're BAD games, I just don't like them myself.

It's shiny and huge. But I had more fun playing and beating Morrowind for the first time last month. Modern AAA games have an uninspiring stylization and lack the soul of older games.

Pretty much this. Every AAA follows the same formula as it's predecessor .It's the sad truth, creativity went out the window a long time ago but to be fair, you can only invent the wheel so many times. That being said, by today standards, Starfield is still the best game of the year.

The triggering continues. I guess when your a Sony pony and your big "exclusives" are PS4 remasters then I'd probably be big mad at Starfield's success too.

game is not even pretty, graphics are horrible, engine is horrible outdated, if it was pretty graphics one could immerse themselve into it a bit more but not even that, after 3 hours I find nothing apealing about this game. Xboxcels would argue its gets good after 12 hours but fuk that grind just for it to get slightly better.

Summary
The main storyline of No Man's Sky, also known as the Artemis Path, involves the player character uncovering the mysteries of Artemis and the Fourth Race, as well as the true nature of the Atlas, the Portals, and the universe of the game as a whole.

That's pretty sad. I might have agreed with you, but I had more fun with RE 4 Remake. That's my GOTY this year.

At least with movies you usually don't have to sit there for more than 2 hours trying to get through the borefest. I lowkey like how modern movies look and feel minus the woke chit. Back in 2005 when HD-DVD and Blu-ray were battling to see who would be the winner of the new format, movies started becoming much more cinematic and in some cases a lot better than before. I think I first noticed the change watching Batman Begins or Peter Jackson's King Kong. The way movies used to be made was changed for good. If they hadn't went the woke route and silly plot-points, modern movies had so much potential.

Not sheriff. Easily one of the best looking games this year. Played Cyberpunk 2077 last year on High settings and it didn't look that much better than Starfield on Medium. The big difference is raytracing and even regular lighting is better in Cyberpunk + the textures are higher res when not on main missions compared to Starfield when you don't take the beaten path. Other than that, Starfield in some cases looks leagues beyond Fallout 4 on max settings with texture pack. The people who post Starfield pics must be playing on Low settings, because you can see the pores and chit of the NPCs even on Medium. I did find a performance boost guide and messed with ini, so maybe that also helped. Starfield seriously needs volumetric clouds, though. I can't stand looking at the nebula and low res clouds, but none of the settings seem to affect the skybox resolution even when I set it to the highest I can.

I'm sure modders will make space feel more immersive in time. In my opinion, Starfield is better than NMS when it comes to that feeling of being in space, but much less than Star Citizen. Very frequent loading screens and constant fast travel ain't it, chief.

Does Starfield ever have moments like this?

I'm annoyed that I have to play for about a dozen hours apparently for it to really click. That's an unreasonable amount of time to invest in something hoping that it improves.

I'm not too torn up about it since I'm playing on gamepass, but I kinda feel like I'm missing out on time I could have spent on a game already great rather than wait for this one to pick up steam.

I'm going to give it more time as I am a fan of Fallout 1,3,NV, and 4 to a lesser extent. I just really hope the people who say it really picks up later are right. SO far at about 4-5 hours in, it's feeling rather mid.
I'm back, bitches!

Google is your friend. But I can tell you that you can actually explore planets without being stuck in cells.
Ha ironic, stuck in cells for the incels. After waiting for the loading screens, that is.

No love for FO2? With the Restoration Project it's pretty much on equal footing with NV.

No I want to hear it from you because there is no plot or story and you know it. There's some little dumb ass tutorial and they pass that off as "lore" but the game is just you mining **** and building bases.

Starfield was never billed as a space simulator, you retards latched on to that of your own preconceived notions.

Since I'm talking to some invalid who has evidently never played a Bethesda game before, I guess I'll just let you continue to be a retard.
