Daughter of Lowe’s executive dies after plowing Porsche into wall….

https://nypost.com/2023/09/10/stella...g-porsche/amp/

Because every 16 year old girl needs a car that can go 200 miles per hour and do 0-60 in 3 seconds. It’s like giving a monkey a machine gun.

What is it about rich people having absolutely zero common sense? This guy is a decision maker for a billion dollar corporation but can’t see that giving a new driver a race car is a bad idea?

Those cars suck anyway.

Lol at giving a 16-year-old girl anything that requires an ounce of thought or responsibility. They’re literally brainless whores.

I don’t know… I had a mustang 5.0 as a teenager and I made it through. Though admittedly there was at least one time I probably would’ve died if anything at all went wrong because I was well over 120.

I’d say the much bigger risk for teens these days is being on their phone. I’d also say that motorcycle drivers of any age are taking unnecessary risks.

If I ever have a kid they’ll be getting a crown vic. They won’t wanna romp on that bad boy because the gas bill will make them go broke, and it isn’t that fast anyway. If they hit something, there’s 7 feet of crush space in front of the steering wheel.

I just recently watched a Horror movie (look away) where a Rich Highschool Sloot got a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible for her birthday.
I don't think sloots actually even like these cars for themselves. Sloots would rather have a Range Rover, G Wagon, etc.

This.

Strong parenting. Makes me wonder. Father was obviously high performing yet this is how he leads his own home?

This. At 3:20am driving is dangerous for anyone. You're either drunk or tired

That's awful obviously. Those Porsches were well built and have many safety features. Hitting a tree though in any vehicle while speeding isn't going to come to a good result.

My first car was the most dangerous, least safe car i've ever driven. It was a handmedown from my parents. It was a Porsche/ VW. it was really a VW but the built up version had a bigger Porsche engine in it so even the small VW verse I drove was called a Porsche. It was made in 1973. The brakes wouldn't work barely at all when it rained. It was a two seater but who only had one friend to drive around when in HS. It was constantly vapor locking in warm weather. The gear shirt was screwed up. The gas gage didn't work. It had other issues. Makes me wonder what were my parents thinking giving me that car to drive. (joking around)

lol @ giving a 16 year old girl a race-car without some kind of governor built in

I am sure the dude got tired of his daughter / wife telling him she needs that specific car and he just thought "Whatever, this problem will sort itself out" and it did

Maybe she snuck out and took the car, which belonged to her parents.

Really sad, I can't imagine losing a child, particularly if you could have prevented it

Anyone remember "Porsche Girl" from the early 2000s? Looks like history repeats itself. Same age too.
