Best Male Anime Characters

In an era where masculinity is lacking it's refreshing to go back to when male characters had a backbone. Decided to watch Bleach since I've never actually seen it in full. On Episode 110 (yes, I watched all the fillers).

+ Comforts the dead
+ Never quits
+ Doesn't take disrespect

It could be argued that Midoriya Izuku is a solid male character in the modern era of anime/manga. Dude's super selfless and sacrificial, bit of a socially awkward doofus at times though. Ichigo is a bit dumb, naive, and short tempered. Midoriya is strategic, does his research, but is a soyboy.

All time favorite is probably Space Dandy tbh.

Guts is a beasttt. Fuark, couple months ago I was reading the manga on my phone each night before bed. Guy got knocked down but stood right back up. Idk how he overcame most of the chit in that manga. Artwork was immaculate.

Midoriya despite being a soyboy does show decent character development and for that alone (along with the person he is) I can respect that.
Ichigo isn't the smartest tool in the shed but he's a good bro and gets things done.

Guts is the perfect fictional portrayal of tempered raw masculinity. There is no character in fiction -- East or West -- that can match Guts.

Aristotle himself couldn't have conceived a more perfect idea of a man than Miura did with Guts.
