Xmas 2023 - when do you start putting up your Xmas decorations?
With November in full swing, it's almost time to break out the decorations. I'm aiming for mid to late November this year. Gonna put some garlands up my banisters, lights in the windows, nice tree in the corner of the living room, Xmas jazz music going on my stereo as I sit by the fire drinking a barrel-aged imperial stout and watching the snow fall slowly outside. It's a nice time of year.
Planning on getting one of those gigantic inflatable santa kunts for my front yard.
What's it looking like on your end? Any of you scroogemaxxing and not decorating?
For your time.....

*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

I've always put the tree up on Thanksgiving night.
This year is different so will likely put up a small Charlie brown tree

I havent dusted my place this decade so I might get to the christmas stuff in a few years.

Why is Christmas starting so early this year? You weren't supposed to do any of this until after Thanksgiving.

December 1 seems like a safe time, though. Can we all agree on that? Or maybe systematically/incrementally? Lights go up first, then garlands, then outside stuff, and finally the tree.
