Day 1 is Almost in the books had two cigarettes in the last 12; hours.

Ran out earlier. Did not buy a pack today. Quiting smoking has been the most difficult out of everything. But after the first day should get easier

There's no point in counting the days, probably better to just remove it completely from your thoughts gradually over time

Very true.

At this point just trying to find mental tricks to motivate. I known that sounds pathetic. Having to do that but I've quit some very bad habits before and in all honesty they were not very hard to stop but cigarettes. Wow. Started smoking at 37/38. ; Can only imagine these ppl that have been smoking since they were 12/13/14.; It's. Rough.

Do the cravings go away if you wait long enough? Or is it forever?

You're an angry alcoholic who gets a buzz on and suddenly thinks he's smart. Not hard to tell when you've had a few, you come on here to chitpost and pontificate.

Someone might take your post serious if they had any truth to them. I'm never angry and I've not been drunk in well.over a year. You don't rustle me as I dknt get rusted . Especially at falsehoods..

You got this. Its just a couple days of being uncomfortable.

Thats really all it boils down to. Suck it up and when you get the urge, just do something to take your mind off of it. It will pass in a few minutes.

Now take the money you would have spent of smokes and set it aside. Watch how it builds up. Its like a free mini savings account.
