just started on the first episode

a bit slow but the premise is pretty interesting

I realllllyy like the show because of its take on alternate history and the space race.

That being said there is some plot lines that are annoying, but also somewhat fitting for the era and storyline. Season 1 has a big focus on putting women in space. But it also kind of makes sense for the storyline, and it is something I believe would happen so I don't think it's just woke chit being forced.

The show picks up alot by season 2

If you like space, if you like alternate history shows, it's great.

It's basically a series of "what if we never stopped the space race against the russians"

Is it perfect? No. But I enjoyed it and the space scenes look beautiful on an oled. I also think it's a pretty loosely accurate take on how the world would be if we never gave up on the space race.

If you can get thru s1 the rest of the seasons get better and more interesting.

tried to watch it but couldn't get into it

I think my attention span is completely wrecked by my phone/miscing because I can never be bothered to pay attention to these shows enough

Admittedly season 1 I mostly watched on my iPad while doing chores and in my basement while I run the treadmill.

By season 2 I was into the show enough to actually sit down in my living room and watch episodes at mostly full attention.

It's pretty good. Would be way better if they didn't have stupid fukin romance arcs in it and **** and mainly focused on the USA vs Russia stuff and space exploration

I've binge watched first 2 seasons like a year and half ago and I liked it a lot. Some scenes really had me on the edge of my seat

At the same time, I liked it more when going to the space / to the moon was a real challenge and not just some routine.

We started it a couple years back. Really good, but for some reason we stopped halfway through season 2. Still have them DL'ed.

Does it get better after midseason 2? Is it worth starting up again? Looks like they have 4 or 5 seasons now, not sure if worth it, or they went straight downhill like almost all pædowood stuff...

Just finished Season 2. I like the show.
The first half of season 2 wasn't that great but it really picked up at the end.

I've had it for 3 months because it was a free trial. We watched Hijacked which was pretty good, but outside of that nothing really piques my interest. Letting it expire at the end of the month.

gave up after season 1 after getting tired with the woke crap being rammed down my throat ("LGBTs/womens/minorities would have gotten us to the Moon!" lol in reality (ours at least) it was actual Nazis that won the space race for the US)

Really interesting show, and I hate 95% of all new TV shows. Its a very different plot type than the norm. Ben Stiller had a hand in this.
I'm really into this show from the design perspective. The set, colors, materials, lighting, clothes, and camera angles are all excellent. It is a work of art in that respect.

That said, it reminds me too much of watching LOST years ago. Do you remember how there were SOOOO many cliffhangers in that show? I watched on TV and went down a multi-year journey only to be dumped by the writers at the end with no reasonable conclusion or sense of explanation and closure. Those writers (as I recall) later admitted they never had a clue and were making it up as they went. I have some serious PTSD from that **** and it makes it hard to enjoy a show like this.










Also:

SILO

its survival/end of the world and living in a bunker type of show. Not as good as others, but definitely give it a try. kinda like a Fallout/Lost
