Got called out for only greeting one girl at work

I don't want to say good morning to everyone every single day so I've only been saying it to the girl who says it to me. Walked in today, said gm, adjacent girl said "I noticed you've only been waving and saying good morning to her and even when we're both talking you look straight at her etc etc etc"

I chuckled, said my apologies, and that I can be a bit awkward with morning intros

Then another lady looks over and says good morning so I repeated it back.

Now everyone in the office prob thinks I like the first girl.
