Rented a room to a homeless gentleman and its not working out…

So before christmas i rented out one of my bedrooms in my 2bdroom apt to a person i knew was homeless. At the time i just wanted to help this guy out but he has since turned my life upside down. He keeps strange hours and seems to only come out of his room when i retire to mine which is getting rather unnerving. Im also quite sure he is doing drugs due to the behaviour. When i try to initiate a conversation he wont open his door and resorts to name calling so i need him out. The problem is his rent is paid by ODSP and i also have his last mths rent so even with a notice he is paid up till the end of march, is there anyway i can get him out before that legally?…i can refund his rent tomorrow but i cant go another 6wks let alone 6 days with a guy who is intimidating me in my own house.

you know what you'll have to do, op; you'll have to start coming on to him. Bite the bullet (and the pillow) and start making moves on him so he'll get uncomfortable and want to move out.

If it turns out he likes your ass then I dunno what to tell you.

Seems like an aware thread but I am not.

If this is real, what has the guy done wrong? Sounds like he just doesn't want anything to do with you, so leave him alone.

That's what I was thinking. Is he renting himself and then subletting the room? Just let the lease expire or pay a fee to early terminate.

I had a girlfriend I was living with at a time I was renting and I was tired of her. I didn't renew the lease and didn't tell her where I was moving. Kind of a dick move but that was my modus operandi in my 20's.
