Classic alcoholic feels?
I am not an alcoholic, but I like drinking alcohol regularly. Sometimes you know it's so crazy…..as if the entire flesh in my body is moving forward to buy that next bottle of whiskey or can of beer….damnnn alcohol has totally gripped my body even when I am non-drunk.

In the bustling city of Lahore, Pakistan, there lived a man named Aamir. Once a promising student with dreams of a successful career, Aamir found himself trapped in a cycle of unemployment and addiction. His days blurred together in a haze of cheap alcohol and endless browsing of bodybuilding forums.
With each passing day, Aamir's once athletic frame had softened, his muscles giving way to a layer of fat. Yet, in the digital realm of bodybuilding forums, he found solace. He would spend hours reading about workout routines, nutrition plans, and success stories, dreaming of a life where he, too, could transform his body and his life.
Despite his circumstances, Aamir was not without hope. He believed that one day, he would break free from the grip of alcohol and unemployment. He would rebuild his body, reclaim his health, and find a purpose that had long eluded him.
One day, while scrolling through a forum, Aamir stumbled upon a post that caught his eye. It was from a local gym offering free fitness classes to those looking to turn their lives around. Inspired by the opportunity, Aamir made a decision – he would change his life for the better.
With determination in his heart, Aamir joined the gym and immersed himself in the world of fitness. He followed the workout plans, adopted a healthy diet, and gradually, the pounds began to melt away. As his body transformed, so did his mindset. He found a new sense of purpose and direction, one that fueled his desire to succeed.
Months passed, and Aamir's hard work paid off. He landed a job at a local gym, helping others on their fitness journey. He became a source of inspiration for many, proving that with perseverance and dedication, anyone could overcome their obstacles.
Aamir's story was a testament to the power of resilience and the belief that it's never too late to change. He had transformed from a man lost in his vices to a beacon of hope for those around him, proving that even the darkest of days could lead to a brighter tomorrow.

Sounds like you are a functional alcoholic/substance abuser, on the verge of becoming non-functional. especially when considering your post in the other thread saying you only found enjoyment in drinking or smoking as you got older.

That is weird OP because I am the exact opposite.
I am an alcoholic and I haven’t touched the stuff in years.
I have no compulsion or desire for it, in fact the idea of it is a turn off for me.
Good luck man.

Have taken several weeks off drinking myself. Still have had booze sitting in my fridge the whole time. Might drink a few of them right now, then go back to non-boozing for a while.
It is definitely not sustainable drinking multiple times a week if it's anything over a beer or two.
