Inviting all to neg "living rent free in your head" comments on sight

This is f*cking ridiculous.

The whole point of making a thread and commenting is because you had a thought and are putting it out there for discussion.

Additionally, it's an argumentative fallacy to begin with, as if considering something that ought to be considered is the wrong thing to do.

Most things that have a negative affect on you SHOULD be on your mind so you can mitigate its detriment to you.

When someone says they are bothered by something that is bothering them, it isn't living rent free in their head. It's f*cking charging them the fee of being bothered.

A stone in your shoe cannot be ignored away. You have to think about it and then get it out.

What if the person who is living in your head rent free is a selfish narcissist and they experience life suboptimally yet you are content and happy? What if you derive pleasure from their suffering, like they made you look stupid or made you suffer for years? It only works if that person is truly carefree and filled with joy, no out there obsessing over something they can't change like their appearance, getting lip filler and botox, etc.

Yeah that **** is dumb as fuk. Now that Anachron is gone my having to see those comments has dropped by almost 100%, though.

Lol’d. Soon as I read the thread title Anachron immediately jumped to mind.

Some of his other go-tos are “resorting to insults means you’ve lost the argument” and scanning your post for spelling/grammar mistakes rather than addressing the argument you put forward.

But yea, agreed with OP. It’s a purely antagonistic comment.
