Sometimes I watch clips of the Fast and The Furious for nostalgia

Got damn, life was so much simpler and innocent back then….

Was never into cars, and back then I was riding my motorcycle to college, but you can't argue that no modern movie had more of a cultural impact than TFATF

Everything I post is satire.

It's crazy how everyone wanted a ricer or muscle car back then but now you just see the same several trucks and SUV's. I remember growing up the first question someone would ask would be "what kinda car you got?" and other questions regarding cars. You couldn't not talk about cars back then. I don't hear anyone but boomers talking about cars anymore.

Dreams were still alive back then.

The custom car culture was fukin epic back then. I had buddies that every month their entire weekend job paycheck would all go into their car and they'd be broke but they were happy as fuk just cruising in their custom whip. Can't believe they pretty much killed the scene.
There is but one path….we kill them all.

This

I remember every dollar we made we spent on the car or car audio chit. I drove around all day and i don't even know how many people i met through it. The culture just vanished though. I heard it still exists on the coasts some places but i don't see it anywhere else srs.

Oh yeah, I remember going to see F&F with my two best friends, it was a movie you walked out of and a little part of your life had changed. We were completely immersed in the car culture of the day so this rocked our world. Games like Gran Turismo were on-top of the world.

I think the original F&F really captures the feel and essense of the early 2000's. It's hard to explain but it will always make me feel 17 again no matter how many times I've seen it.

I always thought it was LOLzy how Johnny Tran and cousin Lance shot up Brians car….. and then they casually stuffed their uzi back into their jackets and rode off…..

Like srs, the heat from the barrel of that uzi would melt your damn skin.

But I give it a pass cause the early 2000s was all about care-free (and self-aware) fun….
