If you want to be a slayer after 35, grooming is key

Seriously. Need to shave every day, get haircuts every 4 weeks(or rock the longer haired look).

If you go a single day without shaving the neck, you look like a bum. If I go like 3 days without shaving the neck, I seriously look like 5 years older and way bummier.

This is key, bros. You can still be deep in the game at 35+, but any hint of "letting yourself go" after 35 makes people think you have just stopped caring.

Even good looking people have to care after 35. You can't just let yourself go and expect to still be taken serously.

it's true. But spf and drinking a lot of water, along with working out, keeps the aging away. I'm regularly mistaken for 8-10 years younger than I am.

Yeah I prefer how I look shaved, but because I use a hair trimmer to shave my beard I can't do it very effectively if it doesn't grow out somewhat and then I look stupid with the neck hair

Grooming helps massively

At the rate this cut is going I'm gonna hit 10% bodyfat at close to 95kg - already got laser hair removal happening on my back because I can take care of the front, nutsack and dink is always shaved to skin every 2-3 days, regular haircuts and beard trimmer every few days to keep things on the face tight - around the neck area, every second day it gets shaved completely clean

Cope bro

If you were handsome at 25 & still have your hairline at 35 what exactly do you need to change in order to still get sloots other than evolving income & career wise from ages 25 to 35?

Tall, broad shoulders(not side delts, actual shoulders), good jawline, good hairline.
If you have those you are set at any age If you do BASIC grooming which doesnt even change with age.

Yeah, I'm actually considering going clean shaven after keeping a short small beard for a number of years. Clean shaven only works when bodyfat is low enough.

I’d have thought that being a slayer post 35 revolves around what you have to offer BEYOND your looks.

I figure 20 - 35 are the prime years for looks maxing, but come 35 your looks become a steadily deteriorating asset. By all means maintain and optimise, but I suspect there must be more lucrative avenues to go down for older gentlemen.

Obviously if your body is in pristine shape, theres significantly more leeway. But all too often I meet up with professional people who are like 45 and 24% bodyfat and crap posture and haven't shaved their neck and have greyish beard hair and their clothes are wrinkled and or do not fit well. There's no way in a million years that I could ever take this person seriously if I didn't know their financial situation ahead of time.

Honestly, I sometimes fall into the trap of going a few days and not thinking it matters. Then all of a sudden I look in the mirror and see how much of a bum I look like, then immediately look much better after a shower and shave.

hair trimmer is decent for the neck, but it just isn't anything like clean shaved. If you look at every successful CEO, they will all be cleam shaved or exceptionally well groomed.

I'm just saying, grooming makes a fuking huge difference beginning in your late 30s. Way bigger difference than before. You can get away with letting the beard grow and only trimming or shaving occasionally before then, but after 35 if you don't shave daily you start to look downright homeless.

OP had to take ozempic because he was fat, he is now taking TRT because he has no muscle and he takes dutasteride because he is bald.

A bit of growth on your neck isn't as big of an issue when you have a beard. Shaving and trimming once or twice a week is usually enough.
