Damn Fast Food prices going haywire
I went to Wendy's today for lunch and spent around 21 bucks for a baconator meal (medium) and 6 piece nuggets. The place was SLAMMED with people around 12:30 and it was mostly senior citizens for some reason.
How much higher can prices go?

There are actually some great app deals at McDs and Wendys right now. $2 Doubles at Wendy's and BOGO Dbl Cheeseburgers for $2.99 at McDs.
I went a couple months without eating Fast Food, but have been 3 times in the last couple weeks. Protein goals back on track.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Five Guys. They likely won't lower prices, and they don't seem like the type of place to offer coupon deals to drive business.

$17 for a baconator combo definitely seems up there, on par with Fatburger and probably Five Guys
McDs in the app right now has a Big Mac meal with medium fries and drink for $8.49

It's better to eat at home these days or eat at a real restaurant. Fast food is a huge scam. BRB spend 20 bucks at Jacks for some poppers and a sandwich. Nothxjeffrey.

The fast food joints are pushing everyone to use the apps. Pre-order, pre-pay, great deals. You're in and out in a minute. It's way easier for everyone and way better for their bottom line. Keeps the drive through lines empty and easier for all the food delivery peeps to make their money instead of waiting in lines for 15-20 minutes.

I'm noticing the price increases along with the slow decline in food quality/taste, to the point where I'm not even motivated to go buy it because it's not that great anymore. BRB think 1-meal-ahead and place a pickup order to literally any restaurant I want and pick it up on my way home.
Jack in the box and Taco Bell used to be my favorite fast food places, but they've literally changed every ingredient on each item multiple times and it seams like each time it's a step down. And for whatever reason, my favorite items are always the items to get taken off the menu to never return, but that is just a me problem.

It's basically $15 for lunch anywhere in San Diego. The GOAT thing about here though is that there's burritos shops on every corner serving GINORMOUS bloatmaxxed portions. I see why Latinas are so heavy now, srs.

Yet none if these videos acknowledge this, they try to blame wages instead. Like almost everything didn't double since the "pandemic" because of all of the reckless things they did.
