I've been playing too. I went with Mage (now Sorcerer). Feeling very fragile, like even two hits and I'm dead. My main pawn is an archer (eventually mystic archer). For random pawns, I have to grab a regular mage for healing since sorcerer's lack that, and a warrior/fighter that can sort of serve as the tank. I think I'd have an easier time in this game all along if I went with fighter/warrior. I know you can change invocations but trying to stick to what I intended. I just save after nearly every single challenging fight at this point.

The game is addicting. GF is over so I'm giving her my time now. But unbeknownst to her, when she leaves tomorrow, I actually have off from work all week long, just gonna play this game every day.

Pawns can’t be hybrid vocations boyo. Range ones are the easiest. Just need a fighter Pawn and your gg. Im doing thief, not liking it as much though. Planting bombs on large enemies when you climb them and entrapment are cool though

I picked up some tips online and corrected some stupidity lol. I wasn't treating this game like I did Monster Hunter, and wasn't eating food at camp for boosted stats, also wasn't doing a good job with upkeeping the ability unlocks and gear upgrades for my main pawn.

Playing as a sorcerer is fine, mage as a pawn is good, you can click the "help" button and it seems like they always immediately prioritize healing you. My main pawn archer is strong AF, putting my lower tier spells to shame. I feel like you really can't go wrong with what you choose, since you can at any time change your main pawn's invocation, as well as your own. Costs gold / RC though.

When you select your pawns make sure you review what abilities they have, or the lack there of. And make sure you replace your pawns, because they'll be the level that they were acquired at until they die or are dismissed. Had like a level 8 thief despite being level 14 for a while lol.

I watched Asmon play for 15 min yesterday. Game looks janky af. He was getting owned by a dragon and getting stuck on it. It honestly looks horrible. $70 + denoobvo + laggy clunky janky chit = nothxjeffrey

I still need to finish BG3 and then play cyberpunk.

I'm tempted to buy this game now. I bought and played Elden Ring 2 and had about a good 2 week run at it until it collected dust. I enjoyed it but found it to be too tedious for a casual gamer like me. That being said, I have the whole week off and was planning to play golf, but all I see is snow at the moment.

Fighter was my first choice, then I tried warrior (2H) and now mystick knight (magic jedi chad). Warrior is my fav so far.

You'll prob enjoy this one as well especially with the rugged combat, tough enemies, pawn system, and large open map for exploration. I'm 21 hours in and still haven't scratched the surface. Been questing in the first main city and still barely explored the map.

Not sure about the experience on console but I heard someone enjoying it more on their PS5 than PC (Don't remember why).

I like it. 21 hours since release and I have a hard time playing games anymore brah. My last session was prob 7 hours. First session was 10 hours. Used to fear the nighttime but now the night fears me. (dedfknsrs)
