Why are Go-Karts street illegal but e bikes aren't?

I really want to buy a go kart and ride it on the streets but apparently it's illegal

But the ****** can ride an electric bike or scooter like a maniac no problem.. ridiculous

Fuk e-bikes/scooters & everyone that rides them. Mf's want to use not only the bike lane, but the street and sidewalk when it benefits them.

Now you have to worry about some FUK out of sight going 30mph behind a fking truck while you're crossing the street
