Who else has this bullchit sinus and lung sickness that won't fuking end?
Been going on for weeks now...Definitely getting better but still fluid/debris in lungs and a gnarly cough that won't budge
Most everyone here I know is sick, everyone who came into contact with each other got it..Most contagious chit I've witnessed its definitely airborn
Its not bad..Just absolutely annoying AF and won't end and sometimes I start to cough/choke on the fluid in lungs but its not pneumonia
Such a ph@ggot illness..

I've had this horrible sinus infection for about 3 months now that didn't even disappear with a course of antibiotic and steriod pills.
I'm going in for Balloon Sinusplasty on Tuesday to hopefully fix it.

I had it in my lungs for about 5-6 weeks, Jan through mid-late Feb. Seemed like it would never end.

Have you gotten tested for RSV? I had it back in November. Symptoms weren't bad, but when I get a cold it usually goes away in 2 days, the RSV lasted 2 weeks. An annoyance more than anything, my nose was like a faucet.

I remember it tasting disgusting. Would rather just eat whole garlic cloves.

I have the same thing. Two rounds of antibiotics and steroids finally got rid of most of it, but some still lingering. Stupid Afrin is the only thing that helps me breathe but it's addictive. The rebound sucks.

EVeryone has it here, its the most contagious chit, anyone who comes into contact with it (even if 20ft away) they catch it lol and the cough lingers for weeks with phlegm
Yep, same thing happened to me, got better, hit gym, sickness came back, rested more, got better, tried to go back to work and more gym, sickness got worse again
I cough up lots of phlegm in the morning, most of it won't come out, crackling when breathing, just a bunch of mucus suffocating me making me gag
Gotta go grab more meds and just rest cuz every time I start to get better and go out/do chit it gets worse again...
So the plan is med up / do nothing / be bored / rest
Gheeeyyyyyyyy

I got something like what op described and became desperate. **** actually allowed me to sleep through the night without coughing.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

yeah had that like a month or so ago.
then after the cold went away and i hacked out all the nasty plegm i got an inner ear infection, so it fellt like my ear was blocked with water for literally several weeks. they gave me antibiotics but even if the infecion goes away it takes weeks for the fluid to drain since its on the opposite side of your ear drum and it has to drain out a small tube into the back of your throat you apparently just swallow all the nasty fluid over time.
