is there any justification for corporate CEO pay relative to average worker ratio?

Yes, the CEO bring experience over a career lifespan relative to the new joiner but does the pay gap correlate to the gap to experience and productivity?

If the CEO ****s up, yes, they get dismissed but with a severance package of a few million. If they got the lethal injection if their decisions are bad(because of muh effect on the company and muh effect on the economy), I would understand.

What does the CEO of a (large) company even do? They have employees and subordinates to literally do everything that is involved in keeping the company running
