Got bitten by a dog today on the side gig
What a fukn ride, I should've just accepted that I had a free day off from all jobs and chilled. But nooooo.
Got bitten by some lady's mutt. I was pissed in the moment, but I think the doggo was just scared. Told the lady to come get her dog and that it bit me.
I can't stand POS dog owners that don't socialize their dogs with anyone. Had to have a report submitted at work, then had to go to a clinic ASAP for workers comp provided care.
Police got involved and I met the animal control officer. He took a pic, I gave him the story and I went about my merry way…
Spoiler!

So yeah, day ruined lol. I'm finally relaxed and this chit actually hurts, had to stop walking on it. Also this is why I do NOT trust the Law Enforcement in this town, srs. That's not including their own history here.

Or so I thought. Oh no, this cawkslurpin' guy calls me back right and says the bite "scabbed up to fast" and that the "timeline doesn't add up." Also the lady said I never informed her that I was bitten. No surprise, I boldly stated that she was a liar, and the officer didn't protest. Anyway he says submitting a false Police Report is a Class A misdemeanor. Then proceeds to ask that I give him my honest answer. In short I have to repeat my story, send the first pic I took, then literally have to ask him "are you implying something here?". He backpedaled after he realized I wasn't going to incriminate myself.
Spoiler!
The urgent care clinic gave me a hard time because workers comp was being difficult to them. They dressed it up with antibiotics, and wrapped it up. Tetanus was optional but not mandatory because it was an abrasion. I also declined because I knew it would raise the workers comp cost and just cause more trouble
