Never pay for a massage from someone in Gen Z

Just finished up a massage. Crappy weather and nothing else to do today.

It was a single chick doing it, she was nice. Probably like 25ish years old and owned her shop. She had some knowledge about massage, but execution was absolutely terrible. No pattern whatsoever, not anywhere close to enough pressure, would do different things on different sides of my body. It was basically me paying to lay down with my eyes closed and a chick touching me.

And then she finished up, and I thought to myself, “That didn’t seem like an hour”, and I get out of the room and she said, “Oops, I realized that was only 45 minutes.”

I interact with a lot of Gen Z people, and this type of behavior is completely on brand. Absolutely incompetent in any type of skilled craft. They’re great to socialize with, super friendly and good vibes. But I can’t imagine relying on any of them to accomplish anything.
