Is claiming someone has survivor bias in going from poor to rich, COPE?
Person born poor and had no help at all. They grind and make it to become rich 10+ years later.
Was reading comments from vid below and some people said it was survivor bias and how they don't know everyone's situation. I hear this all the time in debates on why a person is still poor despite people from similar background becoming successful.

Based on your question of whether someone “has” survivor bias I’m guessing you don’t actually understand what survivor bias is
It’s just one category of selection bias, it’s a statistical term and has little relevance to the question you are raising

To go from an average background to an above average life requires an above average person.
To go from a below average background background to an above average life requires a distinctly above average person.
The greater the swing, the less people can do it.
What follows from that has two sides: the people that "make it" think "if I can do it, why can't everybody else do it" and the people who don't "make it" think "I couldn't do it, so everybody who did do it, must have had help/cheated/been lucky".
Cliffs it can be done by above average people, but everybody needs to accept that those people only did it because they are above average.

Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster……
