I remember one of my English teachers in high school playing Apocalypse Now (2 hours and 27 minutes) and the original Great Gatsby (2 hours and 24 minutes) movie from 1974. So 4 hours and 51 minutes just between those two films I remember him showing us. 291 mimutes ÷ approximately 45 minutes of class time, that's 6.5 class periods, probably 7 after factoring in some bs'ing in the class over it. My brah managed to kill a week and a half of classes showing us just 2 films, not including anything else we got shown for film in the classes over the years lmao
