The age of majority should be 17 in my opinion
The reason why I think the age of majority should be 17 instead of 18 is because it's completely ridiculous that 17 year olds are legally allowed to drive a car on their own but they can't vote, join the military without parental permission and drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes.
Why would Canada allow a 17 year old to legally be allowed to drive a car on their own if they're still considered minors by the law? that to me doesn't make any sense at all driving a car is extremely dangerous and so if a Canada thinks that a 17 year old is fully capable of driving a car on their own responsibly then they should be considered adults by law in my opinion.
