shoplifting is pretty much legal in blue states from what I've read. Protecting property in California isn't something law enforcement is all that interested in. My nephew found that out this week. He is a college student in LA, his apartment was robbed, and police are not interested in it.

Glad that isn't the case here in Florida.

Store owners are retarded and stupid. If you own a business you should hire your own security and have systems in place to prevent theft. These owners should not be allowed to make calls to 911 to apprehend alledged thieves since its a waste of police resource.
