Australia is dominating the USA and the world with only 25 million people (Olympics)
Week 1 of the Olympic's is pretty much done and we are at the halfway point.
Australia: 25 million people
USA 334 million people
What are the excuses?
Obviously, the USA will catch up because of all the blacks they imported to get them athletics medals. But still, how can a country with literally 14 times the population get dominated so hard in the first week of the Olympics?

It's the same every Olympics. Track and Field begins a week or so after the start and then Australia drops right off the top end.

Not sure about other countries, but a lot of the Olympic sports are basically hobbies in the US. The number of people who want to medal at table tennis is a lot lower than those that want to make $1 million as the backup quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

With so many dangerous animals in Australia, people have to be fast, quick, have great reflexes to get away and that probably translates to awesome athletic performance.
