Most restaurant meats are halal, killed in the name of Allah

By eating halal meat you are accepting Islam/Allah.

I want meat that is halal or kosher.

Tells me there is a second person in there making sure its good to eat.

That seems to me like a good thing.

Both Halal/Kosher are kinda similar processes. I know a few things about Kosher but not everything. Few point are

- You slaughter it in the name of Allah
- You give the animal water before killing it
- You don't kill the animal in front of other animals. I hope you don't eat Halal OP but also I hope you enjoy your chicken coops and pigs and how they are handled. I'll stick to my Halal thanks.
- The blade must be sharpened
- The blade only comes out at the last moment (some rulings are open to modern techniques)
- You want a swift cutting which it's more or less done in a moment
- Drain the blood (less much health risk)

If I can't get halal, I can consume Kosher.

I watched a doc on some slaughterhouse recently where they sneaked in surveillance and the pigs were getting trampled on and you could hear them screaming in agony for 20 minutes before being gassed. It was nasty AF. As I'm aware with Halal they cut the windpipe quickly and so the pain is minimal. Sounds miles better so not sure what your point is?!

A lot of people sadly are ignorant. On top of that, I doubt majority of the people on this forum have even seen an animal getting slaughtered.
