Employer offering me 3-5 grand less than advertised due to my 'lack of experience'.

They initially offered me 8-10 grand less than advertised but I wrote an email saying I want what is advertised and they then said that they can increase it to 3-5 grand less than advertised - and then we can revisit after probation.

The justification is that I 'lack experience' - however, this is a job that anybody with half a brain can do. It's not like a computer programming role where you don't know a whole programming language and the company is going to need invest money in educating you or some crap, it's a job that anybody with some organizational skills can do.

Wut do?

Lol yeah this. Tell them you need help with everything, ask too many questions

Or just enough questions to get on their nerves but not be up for discipline

This.

Do you meet the minimum qualifications they have in their ad? If not, you can't expect any different.

Take the job and continue job hunting. do the bare minimum, it will take them months to fire you. call out sick if you get another job interview. if they complain then yeah just tell them you hired me and paid me less for lack of experience im still learning.

some money is better than no money unless you got other offers

if they fire you after 2 months dont even put it on your resume just pretend it didnt happen

Are you desperate? Take it, learn everything, then move on in a year. If you aren't desperate, pass.
