his politics aside, i still listen to him a ton when Sirius tries to lure me back with a 90 day free trial. He's still pretty funny, still can have good guests on and still good pranks / skits with the wack packers, ronnie etc.

He was a hero of mine growing up and his downfall feels like a personal betrayal. My dad and I used to bond over the show so it means more than just BS entertainment. We went to multiple shows together, I met Jackie and Artie twice srs. Back then Howard was such an iconic figure. He spoke pure common sense, railed against political correctness and was funny AF doing it. The guests and crew created a classic dynamic that made for the greatest morning radio ever aired. You could never recreate the greatness that existed from about 1990 to 2010. Any time a newsworthy event happened, people would be waiting for Monday morning to hear Howard’s reaction because it was always a great take.

I’m so fuking disappointed at how he’s changed. I can’t stand the fkin cocksucker now srs. He completely sold his soul for Hollywood, the same with many of my other childhood heroes – Robert DeNiro, Jesse Ventura, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the list goes on.
